charming seaside village

Situated just in the heart of the Riviera Romagnola, Cesenatico is a small and ancient seaside village which stands out for the authenticity of its traditions and charming views which have remained unchanged over time.
Walking up from the pier along the Leonardesque canal harbour, the first marvel you come across are the Fishing Huts, the symbol par excellence of Cesenatico's seafaring life. It is from this point of the pier that at different times of the day you can see the return of the fishing boats, escorted by spectacular flocks of circling seagulls.
It is from Piazza Ciceruacchio that you enter the heart of the historic centre. The old sailors' boats, the Piazzetta delle Conserve, the Vecchia Pescheria, the House of the poet Marino Moretti and many nice fish restaurants and bars.
A grand finale with the wonderful Maritime Museum. Unique in the world for its floating section, where you can admire the ancient sails and the decorations of the bragozzi, directly on the canal.
